HumanX 2026: everyone's shipping agents, few can prove they work
Okareo joined the industry in San Francisco for HumanX 2026. Here's what we heard on the floor — and what we showed teams about testing voice and text agents before their customers do.
We were at HumanX 2026
HumanX 2026 brought the AI industry to San Francisco from April 6–9, and one theme ran through nearly every conversation we had: teams are shipping agents faster than they can trust them. The demos were impressive. The question underneath them was always the same — how do you know it still works tomorrow?
That question is the whole reason Okareo exists, so we spent the week showing people the answer.
What we shared
We walked teams through a live Driver — a synthetic user with personality, context, and a goal — calling a voice agent, switching languages mid-conversation, and tripping an edge case in real time. Then we showed the part most tools can't: the audio, the transcript, and the trace landing on a single timeline, so a Conversation Designer and an Engineer can debug the same call in the same view.
The reactions we heard most:
"So it actually holds a conversation, not just sends a prompt?" — yes.
"It does this in other languages?" — 30+, with the noise, clipping, and crosstalk of real calls.
"Can this run on every pull request?" — that's the point.
What stuck with us
The center of gravity has moved from can we build an agent to can we ship one we trust. Evaluation and simulation are no longer a nice-to-have bolted on at the end — they're becoming the CI/CD pipeline for agentic AI. It was a good week to be building exactly that.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by. If we talked at HumanX and you want to pick it back up, we'd love to keep going.
